We are so pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 RBERN West professional awards. Based on a nomination from teachers in her building, Lisa LoVallo-Coyle, Principal of Bilingual Center #33 in Buffalo Public Schools, is the recipient of this year’s ELL Administrator of the Year. Mallory Leo, of Niagara Falls City School District, is the winner of the Teacher Leader Award, with support from her principal, district supervisor, and her superintendent! Finally, nominated by many of her peers at West Buffalo Charter School, Thi Thi Aung is the recipient of this year’s ELL Advocate Award.

We hope you will come to celebrate this year’s winners, reflect on the accomplishments of the RBERN West during the 2023-2024 school year, and provide feedback about how we can improve our services for the 2024-2025 school year. We will hold our annual End of Year Celebration on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 5:00-6:30pm in Room B-1 in Building B at the Erie 1 BOCES Education Campus with a light dinner to be provided.  Please make sure you register as seating is limited.

An important part of our agenda that evening will include a brief overview of the results of our RBERN West 2023-2024 EOY Survey.
